Photographing (and this includes moving images) bikes and their riders just sort of happened. I've been mountain biking since the late 80's, did a spell of national DH racing in the mid 90's and now I spend more time taking pictures of bikes than actually riding them. Photography just seemed to happen too. I've always taken pictures and been fascinated with cameras but around a couple of years ago I just got up one morning and decided to go and photograph mountain bikes.
My images have been published in MBUK, Fastlane Magazine, Wideopen Magazine, Dirt (inc website) and I supplied all the images from the UK National Points Downhill, UK National Points Four Cross, UCI World Cup Downhill and UK National Championship events exclusively for British Cycling in 2009 and continue to do so in 2010, along with video product. Seeing your images in print or on a website is great, but I get the most pleasure from simply being out and about and meeting different people from all around the World and from all walks of life and just trying to get that one shot that I'm after.
